Technical Producer [DK]
We are one of the fastest-growing podcast and audiobook platforms in Europe, and we’re now looking for a passionate and creative Technical Producer to join our Copenhagen HQ. In this role, your primary focus will be on audio editing and production, ensuring our shows sound their very best, while also supporting video editing and content creation for promotion and marketing. You’ll be working closely with our Video Producers, editors, podcasters, and marketing colleagues to bring stories to life for listeners and viewers.

This is the role
Podcasts are first and foremost about sound, but adding video and strong editing can inspire new listeners and amplify a show’s reach. Some podcasts are filmed throughout the recording, while others only deliver video highlights for social and commercial use. You will combine studio know-how, mastery in audio recording and post-production, with a hands-on video editing experience - making sure both audio and video recordings are captured to the highest quality.
You will:
- Record, monitor, and post-produce audio (clean-up, mixing, adding intros/outros, preparing episodes for release).
- Proven skills with audio editing software
- Have robust experience in mixing and mastering recorded audio, sound design and demonstrate ability to deliver broadcast-level quality.
- Record, cut and produce in-studio content for Podimo's exclusive podcast.
- Maintain technical and creative aspects of studios, including MCR, cameras, lights and microphones maintenance.
- Adapt creative assets to fit different commercial and social platforms.
- Capture and edit highlights from recurring shows on a regular basis and against set deadlines, driving maximum attention and engagement.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and keep equipment and studio setups in top shape.
- Collaborate closely with producers, editors, marketing, and podcasters while also owning independent productions.
- Stay curious about new formats, tools, technology (AI) and trends, keeping yourself and Podimo relevant and pushing the boundaries of excellence.

You love storytelling in sound and visuals. Whether it’s editing engaging SoMe clips, tightening a podcast episode, or setting up a recording session, you know how to hook an audience and make talent feel supported. You’re organized, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced creative team.
Your competencies include:
- Fluency in Danish (both spoken and written).
- 2–4 years of professional experience working as a studio producer, audio engineer, video and/or audio editor, preferably in media, podcasting, or entertainment.
- A proven portfolio of commercial projects (personal creative work is also valued).
- Strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills Audition, Pro Tools, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).
- Technical know-how in camera setups, studio lighting, sound recording, and basic troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with social-first content and an understanding of what drives engagement across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Organisational strength with a proven ability to manage multiple studios, bookings with multiple concurrent projects
- Well-rounded ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different levels of stakeholders, talent and talent management, both orally and in writing.
- A conceptual mindset with the ability to think through and execute creative solutions.
- A genuine passion for podcasts, audio, technology and entertainment is a big plus.
Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
