Junior DevOps Engineer
We are one of the fastest-growing podcast and audiobook platforms in Europe, and we are now looking for an entry level DevOps Engineer to join our growing team.
This is the role
By joining our small, ambitious Platform team at Podimo, you'll be responsible for refining requirements, architecture, releases, testing, development, and maintenance of solutions.
Podimo is modernising its cloud infrastructure and adopting scalable technologies with best practices. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll influence key decisions to manage platform growth. Our team works closely with development teams to build a self-service cloud infrastructure, sharing know-how, best practices, and creating reusable components. We're looking for a motivated Engineer to be part of this transformative journey.
What you'll do
Design and deploy scalable, secure and resilient cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Collaborate with development teams to define infrastructure.
Use AI tools to speed up your work
Explore, test, and propose new tools that can improve the platform ecosystem.
Develop infrastructure as code (IaC).
Document processes, procedures and best practices for cloud infrastructure management.
Ensure development tools and infrastructure are up-to-date.
This is you
Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts; familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus
Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and an interest in learning Kubernetes
Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts (e.g., Terraform)
Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. Claude Code or Cursor) with a genuine passion for AI and an eagerness to keep learning; you actively look for ways to leverage AI to automate repetitive tasks, boost productivity, and improve workflows
Understanding of CI/CD principles; experience with GitLab or similar tools is a plus
Awareness of monitoring and logging concepts (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus
A team player with good communication skills and a willingness to learn
Ability to manage tasks and ask for help when needed
Scripting or development experience with any programming language is a plus
Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!

Salary for the role starts from 3000 EUR, if based in Vilnius. Final salary depends on the candidate’s experience, skills and competencies – it is not one size fits all.
